This CFw is informed to work on all psp models, (PSP 1000, 2000, 3000 and PSP GO - N-Series), But your PSP Unit must have a motherboard model ‘5g’ or lower..!! Let get started..

Note: This software is free, and comes with no warranty, it has been tested and it has work, however I am not responsible for any bricked, so please try this at your own risk!

If you do not know what psp modules you have, you can download and run the PSP Module Checker to find out, before proceeding. From where to start Read here...

Required:
  • PSP-300x or PSP-200x TA-088v3 or PSP GO has Official Firmware ‘6.20’ installed. other firmware is not supported. If you don’t have PSP 6.20 installed, you'll need to update it. For PSP 1000 and 2000 permanent psp hacked, you should use a CFw 6.38ME-2.
  • Version check: On the PSP Menu (also known as XMB= Xross Media Bar), and goto ‘Settings Menu’ >> ‘System Settings’ >> ‘System Information’ and you should see firmware version of your PSP.
Developer's note: I recommend the old version of PRO users began to appear in the game after the 6.60 upgrade PRO-B9, so as not to archive the user is not compatible with 6.60. 6.60 PRO-B9 use kernel vulnerabilities from some1/Davee/Proxima/Zecoxao the 6.60 downgrader. To express thanks again.

its mean, in the future you don't need to boot CFw every time you shutdown and restart your PSP..

    :)

  9. Hi Purnomo.. after i successfully install the permanent patch can i delete the 3 folder(620PRO_Permanent, PROUPDATE and the FastRecovery folder to my PSP/game?

    ReplyDelete
  10. @Niel: Yes, you can delete the 3 folders .. This is not required until you want to uninstall the CFW.

But the "vshmain.prx" file in the root of your ms, should be stored in a safe place, it will be useful when you restoring a psp semibrick.. :)

  23. Hi, I know your good at this and it works for me but suddenly I experienced some automatic freeze on my psp and its not loading anymore. Whats the reason for that? Everytime I do something on recovery menu then restart the VSH it hung already and shutdown automatically.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Hope someone will response to me this evening because I already uninstalled the permanent patch and still happening to my PSP which I don't encounter before.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hi, Can you provide more info... I experienced some automatic freeze on my psp and its not loading anymore. This occurs in OFW or CFW? you mean PRO can not load anymore? What version of PSP you now?

    ReplyDelete
  26. I have PSP3000 modem 03g when I load your patch. The original version of my psp3000 from the start is ver6.20. The reason I load this because I want to run all my plugins that runs smoothly on PSP2000 which is running GEN firmware.

    ReplyDelete
  27. What I mean freeze is if I activate one of my plugins like dayviewer, cxmb, game categories etc. the psp will think for a seconds then shut itself automatically.

    ReplyDelete
  28. hmm, about plugins... you need to find out the suitability plugin before using it, because not all plugins can run in a pro-b and it could result in brick due to involvement of flash0.

You can get the new plugin here.., but most are designed to run in lcfw by neu0ner. :)

  29. hello there, can this work on psp 3007 ver 6.31? thanks in advance..

  30. I have PSP Go with CFw 6.20PRO-B8 Permanent.
How should I upgrade it into 6.20PRO-B10 Fix1 Permanent?
Is there really exist CFw 6.35 with permanent patch? What version is it, PRO or ME? If it's really there, how should I upgrade from CFw 6.20PRO-B8 Permanent?
And speak of CFw release, what do you think is the best (in term of stability and compatibility) between all of them?
    Regards

    ReplyDelete
  31. is this compatible with all psx, and iso's?

    ReplyDelete
  32. @Anonymous: This CFw requires PSP with OFw 6.20.

@Denni: To update, you just need to run a new PROupdate. Permanent patch is only in version 6.20, by PRO team.. This is not available on other versions.

Concerning stability and compability, I think ME is more stable in a large memory capacity e.g 16Gb. but I do not know the technical side, it only based on usage during this time.

    @Anonymous: well so far..
    :-)

    ReplyDelete
  33. this works for all psp models right? so then how do you figure out what motherboard u have?

    ReplyDelete
  34. ^ i mean, before u upgrade to 6.20 pro

    ReplyDelete
  35. You said "To update, you just need to run a new PROupdate".
Do you mean I just download [CFw 6.20PRO-B10 Fix1 Permanent] only and run step #4 & #5 (skipping step #1-#3)?
Do I also have to download [OFw PSP-GO 6.20] file?
    Regards

    ReplyDelete
  36. @Anonymous: Permanent patch is only for psp 3-5g.. You can use the psp module checker apps, Download from the link here...

@Denni: Yupz, Copy proupdate folder, then run its, it will update to new CFw. 6.20PRO-Permanent is not required.. This is only a patch.

OFw is not required because you are already in 6.20.

    :-)

  40. kindly help me, i installed 6.20PRO-B10 Fix1 Permanent on my psp 3001 cfw 6.20 it works for a while ive been using it last night. then when i use it when i woke up, the buttons start to malfunction the circle button the select, start, triangle.then when i try to go to recovery menu its exiting by itself.
anyone have an idea what happend on my psp?
    thanks

    ReplyDelete
  41. Did you mean the circle button to walk alone? if I observe from "when i try to go to recovery menu its exiting by itself." it seems the X button active without pressure.

This can occur because of moisture on the button, try to reduce the moisture by drying under a lamp.

You can check all the keys function on System Setting > Nickname... :-)

    ReplyDelete
  42. Hi its me again, this is regarding your firmware for when I observed it for almost 2 weeks now, my psp just automatically turned off itself when I exit my game and when I reboot it nothing is happening, it only shows his power is on then few seconds it goes off again. The thing that I always do is take out the memory, open the umd cover then turned it on. That's the temporary fix I always do to run my games again but the thing is it will happened again and again once you exit your game. I never experienced it before when I'm just using the update made by Coldbird and Virtuous Flame. By the way when I used your cfw my PSP status shows version: 6.20 B10. Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  43. @KaedE: there are two issues in this case,:
First, what is your psp module?

    1. PSP turn off when exit of the game, because there is an error in flash0.. This can be caused if there is a plugin/apps that is not compatible with your current CFW.. or, uninstall is not clean.. 6.20B10 also developed by Coldbird and Virtuous Flame..

Try to remove unused plugins, usually in the folder seplugin.

    2. PSP turn on with the black screen/blank: This hardware problem..! trying to do the following analysis:

    a) Turn on the psp as normal.. Note whether the LED indicator of memory stick not stop blinking?

    b) Turn on psp with UMD tray is opened.. and when its boot to XMB, close UMD tray and look at the bottom right corner, whether the indicator circle continues to spin?

it requires technical experience to be able to solve problem.. Hopefully this help. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yeah, it requires technical skill and I'm glad I have it, anyways it seems that after I changed my new memory stick it doesn't do it anymore, anyway I will observed it for weeks then informed you, thanks a lot buddy ;P, and if you have time can you send me a link where I can get xmb and game categories that works on my PSP 3000 modem 03g version 6.20 B10.....

    ReplyDelete
  45. @KaedE: Congratulations, replace the memory stick seems to have solved the problem. Game categories already available on all CFW, by default is enabled. but you can check it out on the recovery menu > configuration.. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  46. Hi buddy....I think its not the memory for when I format the memory stick that I've used before it seems its working fine too. So, I may think its all about the plugins and I removed them all too which fix the problem. So, for all that have PSP 3000 this firmware (620 B10) works absolutely fine. Thanksssssss so much dude, we'll talk again if the PSP Vita arrived here on our country. ;D

    ReplyDelete
  47. Thanks too buddy, for the report and share with us :D yeah, in my country seem to arrive early next year.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Hello buddy ;P, im already a follower of this site and by the way its already on bookmarks of all the browser I've used.....Hey I just want to ask have you ever tried before the Profile manager plugin for psp? Its because I cannot make it work here om my PSP running 620 B10. And by the way any news with dark alex? To all checking this site if your PSP is 3000 don't run more plugins on it for it may cause some automatic freeze and shutdowns. :D

    ReplyDelete
  49. @KaedE: Profile manager plugin only works on a psp 01/02g with CFW permanent hacks. This is not compatible with the pro-b, I do not know with LCFW by neu0ner... o.O O.o

hmm, dark alex has gone... :( but neu0ner still with us, he was using the basic of dark alex CFW.. :D

    ReplyDelete
  50. Oh! That's why anyways thanks dude.... Neu0ner is very good too....anyway if you have time share me the site of Neu0ner so I can visit it and maybe share my knowledge bout this gadget too... Thanks HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL...;D

    ReplyDelete
  57. @Sam George: you save vshorig.prx?
    At the PSP startup:
Hold R to boot Recovery, first try to select Reset VSH, and hit X or O (its depending on your psp model, X=enter O=back or vice versa..!)

    If not work:
Hold O+X+SELECT+START to restore vshorig.prx (you must have ms0:/vshorig.prx on your psp).. :)

    ReplyDelete
  58. what do you mean by BRICK?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Brick that is,.. conditions where the psp firmware has been damaged / corrupted... in this condition the psp will not boot to XMB or just a black screen!

  60. is *CFw 6.20PRO-B9 Permanent work on psp 2005?

    ReplyDelete
  61. Will This work to psp2000 which is said to have 2g? it is above the requirements that it could work on 5g below but you said on the comment that it should be 3/4g..

    ReplyDelete
  62. I tried it just now, but it said The data is corrupted.. what happened?

    ReplyDelete
  63. Yes this cfw work for all model except 01g, but to use permanent patch Your PSP Unit must have a module 5g or lower..!!

If you have 2g psp, you should use CFw6.60ME.. because you have a full hack psp than permanent patch..

The data corrupted is happens if you put at wrong places, or if you are running on a OFw version that is not appropriate, please re-read the full article carefully... :-)

    ReplyDelete
  64. Hi! So if I install the permanent patch on my pspgo 6.20 TA-094 05g, it should brick? I'm running CFW TN with Prometheous ISO loader. If I install this permanent patch, will I still have to use the loader? or can I view the isos/csos off my xmb?
    Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  65. @fluxdisco: You'll ask to run tests prior to installation permanent patch, for safety reasons to avoid bricks.. do not try to install on unsupported psp, you may brick your psp.

and you can delete Prometheous ISO loader or any CFW on your ms... :-)

    ReplyDelete
  66. IS my psp unsupported Purnomo? :/ It's the "N-Series" PSPGO the motherboards a TA-094 and it's 05g...

    Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  67. @fluxdisco: Your psp support the permanent patch, but if you afraid of brick, You can run tests prior to installation permanent patch, please re-read the full article carefully...!

    ReplyDelete
  68. how to know if the test is successful or not, i run the test and it just went back to menu, does that mean the test successed or failed? i am using 03g psp 3001. ofw 6.20, hope u can shed some light on this?

    ReplyDelete
  69. That means the successful, If you find an error or freeze stop the installation.. :-)

    Replies
    1. @dafm96, You have a full hacks psp, it is best to CFW 6.60ME here.., you might need to edit version.txt before updating.

But if you like 6.20PRO... Yes, you need to update to OFw6.20 first.. and it is only a permanent patch.. :-)

      Delete
    2. And I wont be stuck in ofw if i install it? what is the best one?

      Delete
    3. For psp 01/02g: CFW 6.60ME... If you wont be stuck in ofw / get semibrick, Pandora battery should first prepare before doing the update.

  72. i just followed the instructions from above, and i dont have any hitch in doing it.. i just upgraded my PSP 2006.. 02g.. 5.50 Prome-4 to version 6.20 PRO-B9 then to 6.20 PRO-B10 CFW.. Tnx Bro! =)

    ReplyDelete
  73. i got 6.20 PRO B8, 03g, can i just run the PROupdate then test then it is good to go? i just want to verify the process coz psp is expensive, if i back up the vshorig.prx file, then any errors or brick conditions can be resolved using the "Hold O+X+SELECT+START" to restore vshorig.prx upon boot? this is just to clarify the instructions.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Yes that right.. Process to consider is when to install a permanent patch, if you get an error or hang should be avoided..

    3. can u please explain me what to do, i already have pandora battery created, what to do with the "CFw6.60ME"?
      heres what i did:
-created a magic mstick using another psp
-i inserted that mms to my bricked psp
      -then hold L
      -put pandora battery
      -nothing pops out

note: but when i try to use magic memory stick and pandora to the psp where i created the mms, it worked and promted me to the options to unbrick, can u tell me what you mean about "CFw6.60ME" and what to do to it, TIA

      Delete
    4. You sure like you said, your psp 2006 and have 5.50 gen-d3? or brick occurs when updating to the 5.50 gen-d3?

By CFW5.50 gen-d3, its mean, you have psp 02g with TA-088v1 or TA-088v2... because on the TA-088v3 MMS will not work..

About the L button, try pressing harder, maybe the button are dirty so it does not work. In essence, the function of this button can be changed to another key (e.g. DPAD, Square, etc) when installing the MMS.. or just skip its to make mms auto boot without using any button to boot up.

When you done with pandora, you can install CFW6.60ME for your psp.

    5. brick occurs when updating to 5.50 gen-d3...
i tried other buttons but no luck... maybe i got v3, is there any known solution for this?

      Delete
    6. Did you remember, the cfw version before you get a brick? Sorry, no solution for v3, except replace the mainboard.

      Delete
    7. well, i dont have any idea, coz i dont have any contact to the owner, im just a newbie repairman, i managed to create pandora and able to open the unit, but laziness occurs and i didnt flip the mainboard to determine board model, i guess its the end for that psp, many thnx for replies...

  78. Hi Purnomo, Thanks for your reply. What do you mean by defective memory partition? To tell you the whole story, when I'm update my ofw from 5.03 to 6.02, it prompts an error message saying system update cannot be completed. Around 96%. Then when I off it, I have already a 6.20 system. I tried to update again to 6.20 but it tells me that i don't need to update. my psp is fully working except that I can't proceed in cfw 6.20 B10. it always hang up then the power turn off

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Lucky you did not get a brick... defective memory partition has occur because the files copied and deleted over and over again, on the PC is called the fragment, so you need re-format to re-partition structure.

Of your case, usually because of bad flash0. Try to unplug the battery for a while, then run pro update again,. if this fails,

maybe, with the update will be able to fix the bad flash0. You can try the OFW6.60 update, but if this fails like before.., you might brick your psp.

    1. You need to enter Recovery menu, then Disable Protection Flash0.. Dont forget to change its back when you done... If you haven't Permanent patch installed, you can change its under OFW..

  85. PSP Go g5, 6.20 Pro B9 Permanent. I can verify that I have installed popsloader correctly (pops.txt is correct and placed correctly, and the plugin is enabled); I can access the version select screen when booting a game.

I cant get anything to work for Silent Hill NTSC-U. I own the game but the disk is scratched a bit. Ive downloaded numerous isos in case one was corrupt, but none have worked with any of the pops versions. I always get "Game could not be loaded (FFFFFFF) or (80000004)"

Ive had similar luck with Chrono Trigger.

Help me please. Im getting incredibly frustrated

I hope im not spamming, but NOTHING HAPPENS when i hit publish as livejournal. wtf
