Custom Firmware update 6.39ME (Minimum Edition) has been released by Neur0n. This CFw update for PSP1000 and PSP2000 (01g / 02g or Permanent hacks - non-TA088v3), its now lets users to play backup UMD’s - ISO that require firmware 6.39 without patching the eboot. A cool dual-booting feature lets users to Boot OFw by Hold HOME button while turn on the psp.

• This is CFw work on PSP1000 and PSP2000 Permanent hacks - non-TA088v3.
• The degree of stability is still unknown, Please test it on your own and refer to different people's test reports..

This updater requires a psp with CFw or HEN installed,

• Copy UPDATE folder to ms0:/PSP/GAME/.
• Rename OFw 6.39 eboot to 639.PBP, then put its into same folder, ms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/639.PBP.
• Run installer from xmb.

Neur0n has releases a fix for the latest his CFw 6.39ME, The 6.39ME2 Recovery Hot Fix > Fix addresses a flaw that is when you get via Recovery Menu in the sleep mode, your saved settings rejects. Replace your Flash0:/vsh/module/recovery.prx with the new one.

6.39ME-2 installer for OFw 6.39 > This installer can be run directly on PSP OFw 6.39 without a CFw or HEN installed, and install CFw 6.39ME-2 on your PSP 01g and 02g.
