Wii - Media Centre v1.2.2.

WiiMC (Wii Media Centre) Version 1.2.2 has been released, New in this rel: fixing YouTube thumbnails for searches and stability problems, Added thumbnails for YouTube, Update the core to the latest MPlayer/ffmpeg.

WiiMC (Wii Media Centre) is an open source media player for the Nintendo Wii. Installation is simple! Just download the latest Install package and extract the files to the ‘apps’ folder on your SD/USB device.

A new WiiMC entry will appear in the Homebrew Channel and you can launch WiiMC through there or launch WiiMC Channel Installer to install it as channel.

WiiMC using IOS58, the IOS version is noted in the upper-right hand corner of HBC menu. If HBC is not using IOS58, update to System Menu 4.3 or use the IOS58 Installer before continuing. You must reinstall HBC afterwards after installing IOS58 to utilize IOS58.

  • DVD playback, with DVD menu support.

  • Online media support, including SHOUTcast, YouTube, and Navi-X.
