If your PSP already on OFw 6.60, skip this step. Make sure psp has running under OFw, check psp version!! (DON'T update if psp under CFw! or HEN, If not, do the Restore Default Settings, and release the battery for a moment).
Make sure psp has full battery or at least 78% and keep the AC cord connected during an update, to avoid any possible bricks.
Copy ‘EBOOT.PBP’ of OFw PSP 6.60 to ‘ms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/’ (You can make a new folder called UPDATE in all uppercase letters - CAPS). Then run the ‘6.60 firmware update’ from Game menu. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

Copy ‘PROUPDATE’ and ‘FastRecovery’ folder to ‘ef0: - ms0:/PSP/GAME/’ on your PSP, Then Run ‘6.60PRO-B Updater’ to install the Aftermarket Modules, delete it afterwards, you won't need it again unless you wish to uninstall PRO CFw again.

ReplyDeleterock on \m/ ^_^ this is working on psp go 5g
ReplyDeleteyou are welcome guys :)
ReplyDeleteMantep Gan..... its working with my PSPGo. All games working nicely.
ReplyDeletedoes it work on Psp 3004 slim/ oh it did :D
ReplyDeleteAWSOME
Rocking - thanking u a bundle!
ReplyDeletegood work mate :) mmm still tossing up weather this or ME tho...i will be trying both so we will see
ReplyDeleteSo im having trouble getting ISO/CSO games that work. The 6.60 pro b9 cfw is working on my psp but for some reason when i go to play the game the psp logo pops up then just goesaway and the screen stays black. Can someone tell me what to do please
ReplyDeleteTry to change the UMD iso driver, the inferno drivers are most used for newer games.. :)
ReplyDeletehow do i get iso games to play on my system after doing this
ReplyDelete@neogrimm: copy *.iso game into ms0:/ISO/ folder.. This diagram may help you.. :)
ReplyDeleteCould anyone give me a hand? I'm using it on PSP GO and it's not working. After I finish installation, it suppose to restart and running the new firmware. Mine just not showing anything then after a while bt and wifi light flash together at once. I tried to restart and it goes back to ofw...
ReplyDeleteThere seems to be a problem with the psp memory, try to Restore Default setting and re-format your psp system storage, or try using external ms to boot its... does this work?
ReplyDeleteReally? I'm really wondering whether it does really work with PSP GO 5g... I upgrade mine online via a PSP demo to 6.60 then try to flash this firmware. It doesn't work at all. Then I decide to try downgrading to 6.39 and tried that version. Same thing still. Finally went back to 6.20 like before and finally it worked liked before. So that means I stilll can't run above ver. 14 missions in GEB DLC...>_< Any solution?
ReplyDeleteI've tried this CFw in many psp, including the psp-go, its works well. There must be other reasons, if you can downgrade to 620 and can work.. it seems there is no hardware problem as I first thought..
ReplyDeleteBut, what you've uninstalled the permanent patch, like you said it back as before.. before updating to 660. there may be a locked file in flash memory.
How the CFw 660ME by neu0ner, in my opinion, this is better than pro b. .. do not know the other users.
ReplyDeletePermanent patch? I thought that's using CIPL_Flasher or some addition method...isn't it? I didn't use that at all though since I don't think it's that annoying to run it everytime when it's out of the power.
ReplyDeleteWhy does GEB DLC need new firmware?>_< I could run new demos that requires it with 6.20 PRO-B yet...annoying.
Yupz.. Permanent patch is available only at 620 pro. CIPL_Flasher only for 01/02g, not for 5g/GO.
ReplyDeleteYes, this is an input for me.. now I do not know the solution, I will try GEB also on my psp..
thanks in advance.. :)
Thank you very much for trying to help. I guess it's just a rare case or something.^^; Could be the early 6.20 TN in it when I bought it from someone but still unlikely since it's not permanent either... I still got 2000 model around and a brand new GO at a friend's place. Might try it again when I got it.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, at least it's working with newer games now instead of the worst case I imagined...bricked.^^; Sure wasted alot of my time the other day trying to get it back working.
hey can any1 help me i dont know how to update my psp 3000 5.03ver to Sony Firmware ‘6.60’ its written here that other firmware is not supported. If you don’t have PSP 6.60 installed, you need to update its.

ReplyDeleteGame files *iso is in the ms0:/ISO/ folders. This diagram may help you.. :-)
ReplyDeletemy ff7 still doesnt work well, and i try to install popsloader but it always fails. :{

ReplyDeletePlease help, have a PSP 3004. I have converted a movie to PSP format and place it in the 100ANV01 Folder. It shows, " The data type is not supported". What am I doing wrong. Thanks
ReplyDeleteTry to convert your movie into Mp4/Mpeg4 with maximum resolution 480x272px. You can use a freeware like as "Any Video Converter".. :-)
ReplyDeleteI have E 1004 with ofw 6.60. i have installed the proupdate but my psp says "corrupted data"(at the games)
ReplyDeleteHelp me!!!
Hi Purnomo,
ReplyDeleteim a total noob at this so please humor my question if it sounds silly.
I have a 3004 series PSP,Version 6.37. I wanna know if this particular hacking method mentioned above will work for me. If yes, could u please give a step to step guide on how to do this as i really wanna be through and clear b4 i do anything to my PSP.
Thanks!
@RiJo_Dæmon: Good, better be careful not it.. :D this CFW can work on your psp, to installation, please follow the guide above... Installation is generally safe, because the update process using the original firmware from sony.. and download the OFW update from sony to prevent file corup / disability.. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Purnomo!! i went ahead and followed the instructions and works like a charm!!! Thanks ALOT for the Brilliant work!!:o) Though i have a small query on how to use the fast recovery file. Do i keep the fast recovery file on my MS and once i shut down the psp and wanna re hack the psp, do i simply run the fast recovery or follow the standard procedure as mentioned above??
ReplyDeleteThanks
@RiJo_Dæmon: Yes, simply run the fast recovery.. Use Pro update if you wish to uninstall PRO CFw.. :)
ReplyDeletehi there i have tryed to do this for my son i download and put all downloads in game but when i goto game on psp-go it just says files corrupted data have tryed 10 downloads from lots of places so could someone please help
ReplyDeletePlease re-read the full article carefully... You should have a folder structure like:
ReplyDelete-ms0:/PSP/GAME/ProUpdate/
-ms0:/PSP/GAME/FastRecovery/
-ms0:/ISO/Put your *.iso games here...
:)
Just a little question, I was wondering, after using the CIPL_Flasher, is it possible to still uninstall it with PRO Updater to get the regular OFW back? I know the CIPL Flasher has a menu to restore the original IPL, but for some odd reason its not showing up for me, the screen goes black (no menu with options like when I installed the CIPL) and the PSP just shuts down after that.
ReplyDeleteI really like this Custom Firmware, I just want to get rid of the permanency the CIPL Flasher created. I hope I can still do that without the need to downgrade but I somehow feel that it would probably be the easiest solution.
Hi, I'm getting a PSP 3006 this Christmas 2011. Is there anything I need to check from the store before paying (like motherboard idk.. To make sure that the CFW installs properly?) because the shop wont do it for me. Firm ware 6.6 right?
ReplyDelete-zh
@Tobibrocki: You seem to have a brick the psp.. Can you boot the psp into recovery menu..? and what is your psp model/module..? Have you read about cipl above..? :-)
ReplyDelete@Anonymous: The latest firmware is 6.60, and all current psp can be installed CFW.. If PSP with ofw, not much can be done, just try a test drive to ensure all works well.. :-)
Excuse me for also asking mundane questions but, among the seas of untouched/patched/signed/unsigned/etc psp games one can found which one are supported by using this specific cfw?
ReplyDeleteAlso are all homebrew/emulators compatible with it?Is there a list somewhere that i can check maybe?
let's see here: http://forums.dashhacks.com/psp-homebrew/298933-psp-plugins-%5B6-xx%5D.html.. :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your help purnomo,i am really gratefull for your link
ReplyDeletehalu,,,, i need help how to modify my PSP-3006 version 6.60...
ReplyDeleteAny help from you guys will greatly appreciated.
Hi there, I have a PSP-1000. I;ve been trying to follow the instructions above, but not making much sense of it since there's no references for the PSP-1000.
ReplyDeleteI currently have System Software Version 6.38
Do I need to install the OFW 6.60 to begin?
@rod: please follow the instructions above, "Install CFw660"...
ReplyDelete@Shadey: If you want to install this, of course you need the psp with OFW 6.60... but I recommend for psp 1000/1g, you should install CFw 6.60ME,.. because it is already full hacks and is the best for psp 1000.
:-)
Hi Guys newbie on CFW i already using 6.60 Pro-B9 Permanent (assisted by my friend) can i install Pro-B10 directly on it?
ReplyDeleteYes, simply run the update.. :-)
ReplyDelete@Purnomo thanks ill try it now B10 already loaded on mem stick just been confused if i will run it or not :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, B10 just fix a bugs on cipl for psp 1/2g, this is no different if you are not psp 01/02g.. :-)
ReplyDeleteHey! Awesome post. I managed to update to version 6.60 and I installed the 6.60 CFW. I can play the ISO game I moved to the root but I can't play the eboot games I already had on my psp go. Before updating to version 6.60 I had version 6.37; after upgrading to 6.60 I can no longer play eboot games, either I get an error or the psp reboots itself. Plz help, I bought it today!
ReplyDeletehey i have updated with 6.60 Pro B-10... I have copied a cso file in game folder but i m unable to see that on my psp... please help
ReplyDeletei have a 4g model...
ReplyDelete@Bi@tch: If you mean EBOOT games with extension *.PBP should be placed in ms0:/PSP/GAME/*.pbp.. but if this psx games, you need to install popsloader first... :-)
ReplyDelete@Nimzy: Put *.iso / cso into ms0:/ISO/ folder.. :-)
purnomo help, This application works perfectly to my psp 3004 version 6.60 9g, I download iso file and I am able to play it but when i try to open cso file, it doesn't work even I uncompress it to iso using psp iso compressor..reply tnx
ReplyDeleteI also try to change the umd m33 driver to inferno driver as you said but still cso file doesn't work, help thank you...
ReplyDeleteYour cso game seems to be corrupted.. try re-download from different sources. You can change UMD iso driver when, your game are show up but won't boot.. (e.g. The game couldn't be started, Error...)
ReplyDeleteHey man.. Just wonder is this a permanent patch?
ReplyDelete@Satanior: This not permanent patch!
ReplyDeleteThe iso files are not working for me the psp just cant read them please help me!
ReplyDelete@Anon,Jan7: put the iso in ISO folder in the root of the memory stick.
ReplyDeleteIf its not working, redownload the file.
btw purnomo, untouched iso can be played or should i use the iso tool first to patch?
Hi Purnomo,
ReplyDeletewas just wondering if the old Psx games work on this particular crack??
@Supasta: yes, you can play all iso games without to patch.., Patch it's means to modify iso file for lower firmware M33 and GEN firmware.
ReplyDeleteIf your firmware is 5.00M33 or 5.03GEN, you must patch before play.. and is not required for CFW PRO/ME..
@RiJo_Dæmon: You need to install popsloader first to play PSX games on it CFW.
:-)
Thanks for the swift reply Purnomo!
ReplyDeleteBut could you put up a tutorial or a link on how to install popsloader on Pro Cfw cracked Psp.
Thanks.
@RiJo_Dæmon: Please follow the link Popsloader Plugins Guide... :-)

ReplyDelete@Anonymous: If your game not work, try to change "UMD ISO mode" to a lower driver e.g. "Sony np9660", This sometimes happens if you use the game has been patched to work on lower firmware..
ReplyDeletebut if this still does not work, chances are the game's damaged / defective..
@Anonymous: Game with *iso is in the ms0:/ISO/ folders. See this diagram may help you..
:-)

ReplyDeleteDepending on the OFW version and module of your psp, for the OFW 6.20, you can install permanent patch,.. Not available for other firmware..
Deleteow my OFW is 6.60 so it can't be a permanent CFW i supose?? Thx in Advance
DeleteYes, that's.. Not available for 6.60 firmware..
DeleteThx but I tried and it said this game could not be started.
ReplyDeleteplease more detail..
DeleteHi everyone.
ReplyDeleteI have a PSP model: "3004"
The firmware i was running on it was the "original 6.60"
I have downloaded the "CFW 6.60 PRO-B10" firmware and i have copied the 3 next files in to the in to the PSP/GAME folder.
*Pro Update
*FastRecovery
*CIPL_Flasher
Disconect from PC.
Now i on my PSP i run the Pro Update. Works fine!!
Now i check my system info. It say's "6.60 PRO-B10" Still fine!!
Now i run the FastRecovery and now it comes.
It say's "Recovery Flasher detected a not CFW capable PSP model. Your model is: PSP Brite"
What's the problem here? What did i do wrong and how to fix it?
Thanks in advance!!
That tells you that the psp does not support CIPL Flasher.. This is not a problem. :-)
DeleteOkay thank you Purnomo, but what next?
ReplyDeleteI can't run homebrew right now?
Is it still possible to flash the PSP? And how?
Thanks in advance.
When your psp run in 6.60PRO-B10, You already run homebrew, iso games, etc.. Don't forget to delete CIPL folder from your MS. heres, how to put your iso/apps into psp folder
DeleteOkay, But i am still unable to play homebrew.
ReplyDeleteI have tested some emulators and when i am starting an emulator it seens to be it dont work and it go's right to xmb menu.
Okay my bad. its working right now. :)
ReplyDeleteThe Emulators arent in the right folder. To much folders above the Snex emulator.
*Example of my mistake. PSP/GAME/Snes9X_Euphoria_R2.1/Snes9X Euphoria
*Example off the correct. PSP/GAME/Snes9X Euphoria.
Make shure there are roms in the PSP/GAME/Snes9X Euphoria/Roms folder.
Thanks again Purnomo. Great tut.
When I put a EBOOT.PBP in the game folder on 6.60 CFW and when I try to play it it says the game could not be started and I can't downgrade because the PSP was bought with 6.60 OFW.
ReplyDeleteWhat eboot is used?
Deletehi guys, i just bought a psp 3006 9th generation, running on 6.60 and PRO B9. I went to the shop to do the modification for me and the iso game that the shopkeeper installed for me is the only game that can run and was shown on my psp. Other iso games aren't shown in my psp even after inserting into ISO folder. But themes that I downloaded could be shown and seen. Help!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you have the corrupted games..
DeleteAlright, so I got the PSP 3000, 6.39 Pro-B9
ReplyDeleteand downloaded some isos for it. Worked like a charm.
Then I wanted to update it to 6.60 ProB-10
So I did.
Now, I can't use games like Patapon 3, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd.
Can you help?
Maybe you get the non-orig ISO backups or games that have been patched..
Deletei have psp 1004 and i had succesfully upgraded it to version 6.60pro-b9 but after it whenever i start my psp at the home screen it doesn't accepts any input......plz help i m so worried
ReplyDeleteIs you mean, all the buttons do not work? If so, generally, there is a hardware problem on the home button bar. How to OFW, it works normally?
DeleteSuper noob here, hopefully you are patient with me O:)
ReplyDeleteI just got my white Psp Go, and it is on 6.39 ofw
I am going to update to 6.60 ofw, and then install 6.60 pro b10, but is there anything else I should know? It is relatively difficult to find information regarding specifically the go, and I just wanted to be sure before I go ahead.
also, don't kill me, but I have a few more questions
1) The cipl flasher doesn't work with the go correct?
2) I want to also put some psone games on my go, any tutorial you can link me to that is pretty step by step
And again, sorry about all the questions, I have a psp-1000 and had it hacked ages ago, but my analog kind of went to hell so I fell out of the scene for a while
Basically, the CFW/apps compatible for psp go 05g is same with psp 3000 03g.. so, you can run its. unless, there are other provisions.
Delete1. Right, Cipl is for psp 01/02g.
2. You need Popsloader plugins.. for PS1/PSX games.. :-)
Hey, thanks for the response, installed cfw and have a couple games running but I'm having trouble gettings popsloader to work correctly. I installed it according to the guide, but after everything was said and done, and I tried loading up my eboot, it would allow me to hold R and pick which firmware I wanted to use, but after that my pspgo would just go to a black screen and eventually turn off. Happens with all the different firmwares.
DeleteAny idea?
Have you extract all the OFW module? 3.40-4.01 is the most important.. Remember to delete the file "ms0:/seplugins/popsloader/CONFIG.BIN" from your memstick, and check your PSX on PSP Compatibility list for the modules used..
DeletePlease allow on the related articles.. :-)
Extracted all the modules, but I don't have a file that is config.bin.
DeleteSame error is happening, my pspgo lets me go in to the menu for choosing which firmware, then after I choose it, a black screen appears, my psp hangs for a bit, then all three lights flash once, and the system shuts off.
Thanks Man!!! It works with my PSP3004(ofc6.60).Now i can play my games. Thanks a lot.
ReplyDeletethere is no icon of iso when i hack my psp
ReplyDeleteSo if you ever wanted to undo this, would you simply run the initial 6.60PRO-B Updater application again? And could you just update the PSP through Sony via Wifi to 6.60 OFW? Or does it need to be copied directly in order to work correctly? And also, is there even a need for the CIPL_flasher folder if you have a PSP Go? Could you just delete that one or not put it on the device and it would still work fine? Thanks for any info!
ReplyDeleteYou can uninstall by holding the L trigger while running pro update again. preferably, download OFW update from PC to prevents corrupted data because the lost of connection. CIPL_flasher folder only for PSP 01/02g, Not need for psp go.. :-)
Deletewill it work in PSP E1003 1D??
ReplyDeleteplz reply!!!!
Yes, its support psp e100x too..
Deletehello can somebody help me?
ReplyDeletei had CFw 6.60 PRO-B9 for like 3 months now and i bought a 16 GB MS and everything was working fine. But when i was playing crisis core i noticed that the select and start buttons were flickering at some points. After this i turned it off and the next day when i ran CFw with fast recovery i couldn't move the cursor even tho i could without CFw.What should i do?i have a psp 3004 without pandora battery
It's a hardware problem, usually on the Home bar button, if one or more of the key has short / damaged. You may consider its for repairing.. :-)
DeleteYes thank you
Deletei found out that it was the select button that was flickering i tried to open the front of the console but no use
thanks anyway! :D
it works on me, PSP 3004. Big THANKS to you guys! MOre power!!!
ReplyDeleteNeed some help troubleshooting my psp. It's a psp 3000 and I just upgraded it from a pro-b 6.39 to a 6.60 and every time I start up a game whether it's a iso/cso or even my umd, the playstation logo shows up and it freezes there till my psp resets on its own. If I don't fast recovery I play my umd just fine, only when I fast recovery is when my games don't start up.
ReplyDeleteI have also tried changing it from inferno, to ME, and the 3rd iso booter.
DeleteMaybe you can try reinstalling the PRO-Update, and empty your seplugins folder, maybe there are some plugins are not compatible with this CFW that can lead to crashes...
DeletePurnomo, I just want to ask if it'll work with psp 2000 ta-088v3? I'm just afraid to have a brick. Thanks!
ReplyDelete-greg
And, should I update to 6.60 from 5.03 first in order to do this?
DeleteLastly, can I use custom theme afterwards?
Thanks again!
Yes, it's compatible with your psp.. and you need to update to OFW6.60 first.. Brick usually occurs at the time of OFW update, so, make sure you are in OFW, you have no any other apps on MS and plugin your AC adapter...

and i look at the question above, you are saying about "ms0:/ISO/Put your *.iso games here...". Im Confused about the "ms0:" thing. Can you simplify this one?
I Hope you can see this message as soon as possible. Thanks in Advace
ms0: is your Memory Stick drive, and You make an mistake on step 6... Create your ISO folder in the root of ms, not inside PSP folder.. this diagram may help you.. :-)
