XBOX360 - iXtreme Firmware LT+ v3.0. DG-16D4S

iXtreme Firmware LT Plus v3.0 for slim Lite-On (DG-16D4S) 9504/ 0272, 0225, 0401, 1071 released, New in this rel: Added iXtreme LT+ v3.0 for slim Lite-On (DG-16D4S) 9504/ 0272, 0225, 0401, 1071. Read the v3.0 Changelog, here's Topology Data quote:
  • When ap25 was first introduced I devised a way of calculating any challenge which I called the silver bullet which I made reference to along time ago. This was withheld until it was absolutely necessary. It was easier to replay the fixed challenges.
  • With unique per console ap25 challenges it has become necessary to use the silver bullet.
  • A series of measurements are taken across the disk. This topology data is then used to calculate a response to any ap25 challenge. It is very important that the drive used to create the topology data is reliable at reading discs as bad topology data equals bad ap25 responses.
  • Liteon drives using 0800 v3 seem to be more accurate for this purpose. Only ap25 enabled titles require topology data. Activation of ap25 on older non-ap25 games although technically possible is highly unlikely.
  • Currently topology data for xgd3 titles are similar and topology data from one xgd3 title will pass on another xgd3 title although this is not advisable.
  • Per title title topology data is best as there are slight differences between titles and newer titles could have different topology than existing ones.
  • One liteon to go and four Hitachis. Have a great year everyone.
  • Thanks go to Team Jungle and all testers for their hard work and efforts in the development process. Thanks also go to Team Xecuter for their support to this project.

Change log:
--- v3.0 --- About ---
  • This version adds support for topology data in place of AP2.5 replay data for all XGD3 and AP2.5-active XGD2 backups. No need to make new backups everytime dae.bin is updated on console.
  • *NOTE: For drives that support AP2.5, all backups containing AP2.5 replay data will need to be patched or re-dumped and Re-burned for compatibility with v3.0.
  • In LT+ v3.0, backups remain the same layout, but require new "AP2.5 topology data" in place of the older "AP2.5 replay sector" that was used in LT+ v2.x and older.
  • Burned backups made for LT+ v2.x will not work on v3.0, and vice-versa. In the case of v3.0, the firmware would be looking for nonexistent topology data on a backup burned for v2.x. For v2.x, the firmware would be looking for nonexistent AP25 replay data on a backup burned for v3.0. Either way will not work, and will flag your 360 by failing AP2.5 challenges outright.
  • iXtreme LT+ v3.0 for Lite-On Slim retains support for the use of truncated backups, although it it strongly recommended to use full XGD3 burns made with a compatible Lite-On iHAS drive flashed with the iXtreme Burner MAX fw.

--- v2.01b ---
Official release of the iXtreme LT+ v2.0b for Hitachi v79 drives
  • Support for XGD3 ixtreme backups using LT-MAX for maximum capacity on standard DVD+R DL discs.
  • Support for large capacity DVD+R DL media (no errors when burning).
  • Fixes issues that were in 2.01 release.
  • Hitachi v2.0+ does not support truncated XGD3 nor Xbox 1 backups (Xbox 1 originals are fine).
