Got my new Arduino UNO R3 board delivered yesterday.I ordered it online on snapdeal here in India. Its around Rs.500/- here and felt its quite affordable.I got it along with a Type B USB which can b connected with your PC or Laptop. Now for a small introduction- Arduino also called as Genuino is an open source software and hardware existing platform for computing.The programming is quite easy as the language is quite similar to C and C++.You can get more info about this on Wikipedia or try looking at arduino.cc.Can't wait to get my hands dirty working on this.
